40 years and still going strong!
Tuesday 30th November 2010 marked a special anniversary at Bourne & Co for our most long standing and loyal employee, Lynda Hart.
Lynda joined the firm at the tender age of 16 in 1970 and has worked for Bourne & Co continuously. Originally starting out as an accountancy assistant, Lynda soon realised that her talents lay in the secretarial aspect of the business where she has been employed ever since.
Michaela Edwards, a partner in the firm said "Obviously times and technology have changed a lot over the past 40 years but Lynda has embraced every new aspect of those changes and has dealt with the changes very well. Lynda remains very meticulous in her work and we would be lost without her!"
In recognition of her long service, Bourne & Co partners David Meadows and Michaela Edwards are pictured with Lynda, presenting her with a gift of her choice - a painting of Horninglow Station by local artist, David Clay, together with vouchers for two stores which Lynda could spend at her leisure.
