Accounts Preparation

All limited companies and limited liability partnerships need to have year-end accounts prepared in Companies Act format in order to meet the requirements of Companies House and H M Revenue and Customs.

Unincorporated businesses are not required by statute to have annual accounts prepared but H M Revenue & Customs will usually require sight of the year-end accounts in support of the figures declared on your Self Assessment return in the event of any enquiry into your affairs.

We consider it imperative that all unincorporated businesses have year-end accounts produced by a firm of Chartered Accountants.

In the event that you require bank borrowings to finance a new project, the bank will undoubtedly require a copy of your latest financial accounts.

We can prepare your year-end financial accounts from your books and records in a format suitable for submission to the various authorities ensuring that deductions are made in the accounts for all relevant business expenditure.
