We are currently looking to recruit an A Level school leaver for the position of Apprentice Accountant to work within our Burton practice.
The apprenticeship will involve studying initially for the AAT qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians) and then progressing on to study for the Chartered Accountancy qualification awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
A Chartered Accountant is a very highly regarded finance professional.
With the ever increasing use of technology within our profession, the ideal candidate should possess good IT skills, have an interest in technology and how it can be used to streamline processes; strong mathematical skills, good communication skills - both written and oral and be of smart appearance considered appropriate for working in a professional office.

Experienced Accountancy Semi-Senior (Maternity Cover Initially)
We have a vacancy for an experienced Accountancy Semi-Senior to join our friendly and professional team at our Burton practice.
This position will initially be for a period of Maternity cover to commence immediately and to continue for up to 18 months. However, a permanent opportunity may become available post Maternity cover for the right candidate.
The position involves preparation of accounts for all business types: sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, LLP’s, charities from manual records, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or Kashflow. VAT work, personal tax work and corporate tax work will also form part of this role.
Full time or part time considered.
Salary dependent on experience.
